Your spell subsides.

Hurt, she stands before you.
The cathedral trembles at her every breath.

The light from your spell dances across the walls of the room, towards her.

And the Tyrant King raises her hand.

...

Her gaze rests on you.
She looks like she's in pain.

So what now?

You are not the first to come here, and you will not be the last.

She pauses for a second.

And even if you do kill me ...

... this castle is far beyond you. I am but a piece of something so much greater.

(^^EVIL WIZARD LESBIAN COMMUNE^^)

And now ...

... my last try.

It will soon be over.

Roll a d20.

You hear a loud thud against the roof of the cathedral.

The Tyrant looks up.

Huh.

Anyway.

You cast meteor storm.

The roof of the cathedral is torn open.

It feels heavy.

Doesn't it?

She stands before you, basking in the light.

You know what's coming, there is no use fighting it.

No light of yours can outshine it anymore.

Roll a d20.

There are like 4 to 7 guys in here now.

Oh, a necromancer?
Not very good at your job, are you?

She raises her hands, and the skeletons all turn around to face you.

You should get out of here.

Man, that really is approximately 11-20 skeletons, huh.

Damn, no need to flex.

Something's changed.

Let's see how good you really are.

The ground shakes.
She's summoning guys.

(Timed event incoming)

Foreword

The ruthless hunting of skeletons by so called "adventurers" have left many species at the brink of extinction.
In the hopes of preserving these wonderful animals, this book will detail potential threats to skeleton habitats, their mating cycles, as well as various other things.

Regular Skeleton

Once the most common skeleton subspecies, their relative frailness, combined with their weakness to getting killed and murdered, has left them severely endangered.

Magic Skeleton

All skeletons are naturally attuned to magic, but for some, this is not enough. Some skeletons choose to form a bond with the elusive wizard hat, taking their arcane powers to the next level.

Big Skeleton

The bigger, more elegant cousin of the regular skeleton, the big skeleton is a sight to behold. They tend tend to make their nests in dark castles, away from the scorching heat of the Sun.

The Lich

Lich these nuts lol

The pages appear to have been torn out.

The bones of the wizard skeleton clatter as they fall to the ground.

Ah!

The fighting has led you back to back with her.

Your eyes meet.

Oh, hey.

Her face is flushed from the exertion. You can feel the warmth radiating from her body.

She smiles.

I'm impressed! Not everyone can summon skeletons like that.

In fact ...

... I think you could help me.

With a snap of her fingers, the remaining skeletons fall apart around her.

There are certain ... rituals. I have not been able to perform them.

They require two people.

Oh, very powerful ones.

She grins at you.

Buuuut ...

... we'll have to touch our wizard staffs together if we want them to work.

The tome says so just trust me.

Roll a d20.

You throw a really bad fireball at the evil woman. She deflects it with her sword.

Should've tried that about 4 minutes ago.
I really don't think I would've managed.

Anyway.

For a final time, the room lights up.

The Tyrant raises her hand, and then she is gone.

She starts moving toward you, but something has changed.

The room doesn't tremble anymore. Her steps just echo out into the empty void of the cathedral, and disappear.

She raises her hands towards you.
The moon shines brighter behind her.

Something shifts in the air.

No.
Beam attack.

Roll a D20.

That's scary!

You focus. There is still time to cast a shield spell.

Roll a D20

You are turned to ash.

You remember that you're a wizard who knows shield spells.

Your ward materializes just in time, and the beam attack is dispelled.

...

She raises her hands again.

And again.

And again.

But it is of no use.
She is damned - destined to lose.

She isn't looking at you anymore. She's facing the moon.

What did you do?

So is this it - is this my ending?

But the cold light of the moon does not respond.

Forgive me, my love.

But her love was wasted.

Chapter I completed.
